DENATONIUM BENZOATE

Denatonium Benzoate (DB) is a colourless and odourless solid which is widely regarded as the world’s most bitter compound. Due to these properties of DB, it provides excellent protection against rodents as well as against termite infestation in cables. DB is a non-toxic compound that is perceivable by the taste buds of the rodents even at very low concentrations. This bitter shock repels the rodents and prevents them from damaging the cables by chewing.

As the dosage of DB in the final product is extremely small, we can also provide DB in masterbatch form of EVA as well as LLDPE for even dispersion in the final compound.
